Goums ?

A very ancient middle-east language meaning... clan, tribe, independance. Some young people have adopted it because it expresses their taste for wild raid and... freedom !

They would leave, every summer, a group of 15 to 20 people for a week to join... the desert, in France or in other country. Young adults 20 to 25-30 old, coming from around the world. They are pacing quietly these vast expenses of pure beauty.

Walking is not our sole purpose. In these raids, we discover essential values. We like the desert, because with some fellow travellers we can rebuild our legs, our head and our theirhead. Health et harmony at every level ! Balance of body... by walking. Balance of the mind by true... communication with others. Balance of the spirit by meditation in suggestive setting of nature... and by the daily religious office.

Nothing such as the desert silence to restore the harmonious unity of our disorganised minds...

As they said more than 15000 youngs after the week in the desert : it's an inusual and essential experience before the bigs choices of life !
